We seek candidates with diverse research interests and expertise in graduate-level instruction, clinical training, and research mentorship within the broad field of clinical psychology.
The Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology is experiencing significant growth, which includes the addition of new tenure-track faculty, an increase in the clinical student population, enhanced funding for clinical psychology trainees, and the establishment of a CRC Tier II Chair focused on Digital Mental Health Interventions.
We are dedicated to recruiting exceptional scientist-practitioners who will contribute meaningfully to our research and educational objectives. Ideal candidates will possess a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited program, a robust research portfolio, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and experience in clinical and research supervision. Candidates should also have completed or be in the process of completing an accredited internship.
Our clinical psychology program, which has been providing comprehensive clinical training since its inception in 1971, has maintained continuous accreditation by the Canadian Psychological Association since 1990. The Department comprises 22 faculty members and 5 affiliate members, serving over 75 graduate students pursuing MA or PhD degrees across various programs, including Cognition and Neurosciences, Culture, Health, and Human Development, Applied Social Psychology, and Clinical Psychology. We also offer undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Health Studies.
The College of Arts and Science encompasses a rich array of programs across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, serving approximately 10,500 students and employing around 300 faculty members.
