Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Analyst to join our dynamic Real Estate team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for negotiating, leasing, and managing our National Ancillary Real Estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, review, and execute the Quebec and Atlantic portfolio
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, developers, retailers, and investors
  • Negotiate and execute real estate deals, including sale agreements, leases, lease renewals, lease terminations, and amending agreements
  • Liaise with operators, landlords, and internal real estate teams to resolve site-related issues
  • Travel to visit our dynamic sites to better understand market potential for leasing

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of real estate-related experience
  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a university degree in real estate, urban planning, geography, or related field
  • Leading-edge skills in PowerPoint and Excel, with ability to create executive-level presentation decks
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and styles, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of lease documents and retail market trends
