About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Market Analyst to join our Commercial Real Estate team at Altus Group Data Solutions Inc./Groupe Altus Gestion de Données Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on commercial property sales in the Greater Montreal Area, including online and over-the-phone research
  • Perform detailed analysis of commercial property sales, identifying trends and patterns
  • Cold call various industry players for research purposes, building relationships and gathering information
  • Contribute to the publishing of weekly newsletters and data in Canadian publications, providing insights and analysis
  • Attend industry events to maintain professional and technical knowledge, networking with peers and stakeholders
  • Perform weekly site inspections to collect information on building details, maintaining an understanding of commercial real estate activity
  • Build relationships with brokers, stakeholders, planners, and developers to gain support for data cooperation, fostering a collaborative environment
Requirements
  • University degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Business, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, with a strong understanding of market trends and analysis
  • Past experience within the brokerage industry is an asset, with a proven track record of building relationships and gathering information
  • Bilingual, English and French, written and oral, is a must, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license is required, with access to a vehicle an asset, for site inspections and research purposes
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented and organized, and proficient in the use of database and word processing applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
