BURNCO Rock Products Inc. is embarking on a transformative technology journey, and we need an innovative Enterprise Architect to chart our course. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in shaping our IT strategy, ensuring alignment with our vision and goals. Your expertise in cloud adoption, legacy system modernization, and data governance will be instrumental in driving business value and growth. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to define and evolve our enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring systems integration, interoperability, and security by design.

Technology Transformation:
Spearhead cloud adoption initiatives and the modernization of legacy systems, maximizing scalability, flexibility, and cost optimization. This includes refactoring monolithic applications into scalable microservices architectures.

Architectural Excellence:
Design data governance frameworks for analytics and AI/ML initiatives, enabling business insights and decision-making.

Solutions Design:

Lead solution design and architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements, scalability, maintainability, and the strategic evolution of systems.


Mentoring and Growth:
Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Mentor and guide IT teams toward high performance, agile delivery, and modern architectural practices.

Technology Trendsetter:
Proactively evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain, etc.) to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
~ Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, systems analysis, or a related field.
~8+ years of experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture within a large enterprise, demonstrating increasing responsibility.
~ Deep expertise in cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.), DevOps, Microservices, API-driven architectures, and modernizing legacy systems.
~ Experience with data architecture, data governance, and analytics platforms.
~ Proven track record of leading cloud migrations and modernization initiatives.
~ Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
~ Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to bridge technical and business domains.
~ Passion for staying on the forefront of technology trends and a commitment to continuous learning.

Highly Desirable:
Experience with specific technologies used at BURNCO (e.g., SAP, Salesforce)
TOGAF certification or equivalent.
Understanding of Zero Trust security principles and secure-by-design approaches.
