Enterprise Solutions Architect

ENMAX Corporation is seeking a skilled Business Architect to join our enterprise architecture team. Our organization is dedicated to providing innovative energy solutions while upholding our core values of Safety, Integrity, Accountability, Service, Teamwork, Agility, and Innovation.
The Business Architect plays a pivotal role in assisting business leaders to enhance essential capabilities aimed at achieving the organization's strategic objectives through various programs, projects, and initiatives. This position requires a strong ability to apply both existing and emerging technologies to adapt to evolving business and operational models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and govern Architecture Blueprint deliverables, which include: Business Capability Models, Technology Roadmaps, High-Level Solutions for strategic projects, Technology Reference Models, and Solution Design Documents.
- Ensure technology governance aligns with the strategic direction of the organization.
- Evaluate proposed architectures to confirm that solutions are comprehensive, secure, actionable, and operationally viable.
- Assist in planning initiatives that support strategic direction or corporate objectives.
- Lead architecture planning and capacity management to optimize performance, reliability, and value.
- Provide governance and leadership for project-based architects to ensure alignment with the enterprise vision and strategy.
- Act as a solution architect for various business initiatives, including transformation, standardization, and optimization across the enterprise.
- Encourage and facilitate the adoption of technology and innovation to support business strategies and capabilities.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of IT and business/industry experience, including at least 5 years in architecture design and deployment.
- Experience with diverse technologies and processing environments.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing complex end-to-end solutions.
- Certification in CGEIT, COBIT, TOGAF, ITIL, MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of Microsoft Azure Services, including infrastructure services, identity, security, analytics, and DevOps practices.

- Ability to mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
