Shift Manager, Food

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our Food and Beverage team at CB Canada. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Supervision: Schedule and supervise staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
- Cash Handling and Reporting: Monitor cash handling procedures, investigate discrepancies, and prepare accurate reports for management.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
- Education: Post-secondary education in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field.
- Certifications: SIR, Smart Serve, or IGB certification, as well as Food Safe Level 1 & 2 certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a food and beverage team lead or supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
