Position: Sales Account Manager/Sales Engineer

The Sales Account Manager/Sales Engineer will be instrumental in advancing the technical sales initiatives within the automotive supply chain across diverse markets. This role demands a solid foundation in mechatronics along with an in-depth comprehension of the company's product offerings, particularly in mechanical components and systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical authority within the sales division, delivering extensive knowledge in mechatronics and mechanical engineering to meet sales goals.
  • Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and devise tailored engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with research and development as well as manufacturing engineering teams to convert product capabilities into viable sales opportunities.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to facilitate the sales process.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, acting as a technical consultant during sales negotiations.
  • Contribute to RFQ submissions to ensure precise and competitive proposals.
  • Travel to customer locations to provide technical assistance and secure sales.
  • Remain informed about industry advancements in mechatronics and the automotive field.
  • Offer insights to engineering teams for product enhancement and innovation.
  • Participate in trade exhibitions and marketing initiatives to display technical proficiency.
Performance Indicators:
  • Foster growth in accounts within targeted markets.
  • Meet or surpass sales objectives.
  • Effectively launch mechatronics products in strategic markets.
  • Broaden technical collaborations with clients.
  • Influence product enhancements based on client feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in conveying technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer-oriented solutions.
  • Experience working autonomously and within cross-functional teams.
