Job Summary

The Technical Sales Support role is a core member of our Inside Technical Team. This position is responsible for all aspects of our customer's buying experience, including sales, support, quotations, order processing, and services. The ideal candidate will have a full understanding of and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the organization, demonstrating behavior consistent with our core values and supporting our strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support corporate sales teams with technical and specialist expertise.
  • Generate quotes, process orders, create vendor purchase orders, and handle returns as needed to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, including product selection, pricing, availability, and customer service-related issues.
  • Communicate clearly with all parties upon task completion.
  • Assist in coordinating special events and promotions.
  • Identify sales opportunities within the assigned geographical area.
  • Utilize CRM to create, track, and follow up on cases, opportunities, quotes, and proposals with customers, actively seeking feedback for successful outcomes.
  • Promote and represent Electrozad Supply through the local business community and industry associations when required.
  • Promote positive relations with customers and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as required by the organization.
  • Support order logistics coordination with applicable departments to ensure synchronized execution of complex ARR and solution bundling.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education from a technical program (Electrical, Mechanical discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous inside and/or outside sales experience in the electrical industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Electrical, Pneumatics, and Automation hardware/software products.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate effectively to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and respect.
  • Ability to set and attain goals clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive business information.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
