At RGBSI, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Vehicle Technical Manager to ensure the successful execution of vehicle projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with the Vehicle Technical Manager to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain vehicle composition, including core structure and interchangeability.
- Contribute to product/process convergence, including hard points in zone meetings.
- Coordinate the creation and organization of Connections/Fasteners.
- Organize Connections/Fasteners meetings to coordinate the technical core team's activity and identify roadblocks.
- Define follow-up and final KPIs with the Technical Manager, escalating to the Project Manager as needed.
- Prepare and coordinate Change Management meetings.
- Continuation of Change Management coordination, including multi-site coordination and sharing modifications with dedicated sites.
- Contribute to quality convergence by synchronizing part modifications with project planning.
- Coordinate product/process convergence and reactivity, including participation in modification batches and support for defects solving.
- Coordinate vehicle rework during the project, including rework/upgrade workshops for used and new cars.
- Minimum of - years automotive industry experience at an OEM or large tier in Product development engineering.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed process thinker.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong written and presentation skills.
- Advanced to expert skill level in using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Full Program Life-cycle Experience.
- Launch experience a plus.
- Manufacturing process fundamentals understanding.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary software.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
