Job Summary

Reliance Impact is seeking a seasoned Strategic Acquisition Director to lead the acquisition and development process for high-rise residential projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial feasibility to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Lead the acquisition and development process for high-rise residential projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to financial objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analyses and due diligence on potential acquisitions, including market research, zoning assessments, and cost evaluations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to ensure project goals and milestones are met, and that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with key stakeholders, including architects, planners, and municipal authorities, to manage approvals and permitting processes.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cash flows, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial objectives.
  • Partnership Negotiation: Negotiate and secure agreements with partners, landowners, and vendors to optimize project success.
Requirements
  • Development Expertise: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on high-rise residential projects.
  • Acquisitions: Strong background in property acquisition, including financial modeling and site selection.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects through various development phases.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal teams, external partners, and municipal stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience: A background in land development, acquisitions, or real estate finance, ideally within the residential sector.
  • Education: A post-secondary degree in urban planning, real estate, business, or a related field.

  • High-Rise Experience: Experience in high-rise residential projects, acquisitions, land development, and project management.
