Manager, Talent Acquisition - Corporate & Early Talent

At GFL Environmental Inc., we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our North American talent acquisition strategy and shape career development initiatives. As the Manager, Talent Acquisition - Corporate & Early Talent, you'll be responsible for driving efforts to attract top talent, elevate our employer brand, and foster growth opportunities for employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent and manage the full cycle recruiting process.
  • Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals and career development specialists, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Design, implement, and manage career development programs to support employee growth and retention.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics and career program effectiveness to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all recruitment and career development activities comply with relevant laws and policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, career development, or related HR roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive decision-making and improvements.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions and influence senior leaders in talent management.
