Retail Sales Associate for Outdoor Equipment

If you enjoy biking and interacting with customers, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking Retail/Rental Associates to assist our clientele during the busy summer season. In this role, you will be a key representative of our brand, contributing significantly to the success of our shop.
Compensation:
$19.75 per hour
Physical Requirements:
This position involves light physical activities, including handling loads between 5 kg and 10 kg, primarily in an indoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers as they enter the store.
- Assist shoppers in locating products and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure customers complete necessary rental agreements and liability waivers accurately.
- Provide personalized bike fitting to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Inspect returned rentals for any damages.
- Restock merchandise on shelves, focusing on maintaining attractive displays.
- Regularly update store displays and merchandise layout.
- Enhance product knowledge to become a trusted expert.
- Stay informed about outdoor trends and technologies.
- Keep up with promotions relevant to our resort.
- Process sales transactions for rentals and retail items using the POS system.
- Act as an ambassador for our resort and its activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Available for the summer season.
- Friendly and professional demeanor, capable of engaging with guests in various situations.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
- Dedicated to ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
- Enthusiastic about outdoor activities.
- A team-oriented individual who presents well.
