Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail/Rental Associate to join our team at Sun Peaks Resort. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with daily store operations, and contributing to the overall success of our retail brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet guests as they enter the store, assist customers in finding merchandise, and ensure that guests accurately complete rental forms and liability waivers.
  • Merchandise Management: Find the proper bike fit for each customer, check returned rentals for damages, and replace merchandise on the shelves.
  • Store Operations: Regularly change displays, remerchandise the store, and maintain cleanliness of the shop and proper storage of all equipment.
  • Sales and Rentals: Process sales for rental and retail through the POS system and load and sell RFID tickets to new and returning guests.
  • Team Player: Be a continuous ambassador for Sun Peaks Resort and all activities and events throughout the winter season.
Requirements
  • Age: Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Availability: Must be available from June until end of September 2024.
  • Personality: Professional, fun, and friendly personality, with the ability to build enthusiasm with guests under pressure and in routine situations.
  • Skills: Neat, tidy, and well-organized, with the ability to multi-task, experience and a good understanding of a POS system, and hard-working, efficient staff member who pays close attention to guest safety.
  • Passion: Enjoy the mountains and outdoors, and be well-presented and a team player.
