Position Overview

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to enhance and maintain existing software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Executing development tasks utilizing .NET Core/4/5, MVC, Entity Framework, and LINQ
  • Creating dynamic and engaging front-end interfaces with Angular or similar frameworks
  • Conducting thorough bug analysis and resolution in both production and development settings
  • Developing unit tests and performing comprehensive functional testing on the produced code
  • Engaging in code review processes
  • Crafting, testing, optimizing, and debugging SQL Server database queries
  • Collaborating within the Agile framework established for software development
  • Ensuring code development aligns with secure coding standards

This role offers the flexibility of remote work; however, candidates must be residents of Alberta.

Applicants must hold Canadian citizenship.

Required Skills

Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, MVC, and LINQ is essential.

Contract Type

This is a contract position.

Mandatory Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft C# .NET Core/4/5
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework and LINQ
  • Familiarity with Angular
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Competence in unit testing
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Knowledge of JavaScript or similar scripting languages
Preferred Skills
  • Strong capabilities in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Understanding of AzureAD, Microsoft Identity, and Microsoft Graph
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM integration
  • Operational troubleshooting and support for FileNet
  • Experience in ITIL v4 or similar change management frameworks
Work Environment

This position is designed for a duration of 6 months.

Compensation

The hourly rate is negotiable.
