Position Overview

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to assist in various initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the current software framework, offering operational assistance, and implementing improvements to existing systems. A quick learner with a strong ability to comprehend and manage intricate systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the ongoing software infrastructure.
  • Providing operational support to ensure system reliability.
  • Developing enhancements to optimize system performance.
Essential Skills

The candidate should possess the following technical skills:

  • Proficiency in .NET and SQL.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with iOS development.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in mobile application development.
Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

  • A completed 4-year degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a 2-year diploma in Computer Engineering/System Technology.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in application development.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer systems technology and design methodologies.
  • At least 7 years of experience in web application development, specifically with .NET.
  • 5 years of experience in mobile application analysis and design.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional skills that would be advantageous include:

  • 5 years of experience with .NET/.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a popular JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Experience with web communication protocols such as REST and SOAP.
  • 5 years of experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in Agile product delivery environments.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
Work Environment

This is a contract position with potential for extensions.

Compensation

The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
