Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Field Services to oversee projects at various customer locations. This role reports directly to the Construction & Major Projects Director and is responsible for managing technical, cost, and scheduling aspects of assigned contracts, ensuring optimal resource allocation for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale projects, including those with multiple contracts or first-of-a-kind elements, while ensuring compliance with Master Service Agreements.
  • Oversee all phases of project management, from proposal development through to project closure.

General Duties

  • Collaborate with customers to analyze requirements and develop strategic execution plans.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, project planning, and field operations, ensuring effective communication and accountability.
  • Direct technical, cost, and scheduling requirements for contracts, including engineering and field services.

Proposal Development

  • Identify opportunities and lead proposal teams in developing competitive solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure comprehensive proposal packages are prepared and delivered.

Pre-Deployment Management

  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings to align stakeholders and establish governance structures.
  • Manage schedules and budgets to forecast resource needs and project costs.

Execution Oversight

  • Lead project governance activities, ensuring adherence to performance metrics and managing change processes.
  • Oversee project execution, including deliverable reviews and issue resolution.

Project Closure

  • Ensure all project deliverables are finalized and contractual obligations are met.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions and manage the billing process.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Deep understanding of nuclear engineering principles and project management in the nuclear sector.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
  • Familiarity with nuclear regulations and quality assurance principles.
