Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Engineering Planning Committee Lead. This is a volunteer opportunity that will provide the successful candidate with the chance to develop their project management, technology evaluation, and curriculum development skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans for engineering initiatives, outlining goals, timelines, resources, and milestones.
  2. Technology Evaluation: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential application in engineering programs and curricula.
  3. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with engineering faculty to design and refine engineering curricula to align with industry standards and student needs.
  4. Risk Management: Assess potential risks associated with engineering projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  5. Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for engineering programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  2. Project Management Skills: Strong project management and planning skills.
  3. Engineering Knowledge: Knowledge of engineering principles and industry trends.
  4. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
