About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Aroma Espresso Bar. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure high-quality products and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including operating machinery and overseeing sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
