About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Specialist to join our team at Richmond Kosher Bakery Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production and Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to meet production deadlines and achieve sales and merchandising goals.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; willingness to train and learn.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, and a team player with excellent judgment and reliability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English.
