About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at Chrysta ABA Academy Society. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching or a related field.
  • Teaching and Assessment: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, assess student progress, and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, manage classroom behavior, and establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in special education, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to the growth and development of the Chrysta ABA Academy Society team.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education, or equivalent.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30-35 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Temporary.
