Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team at Reach for the Stars Montessori Learning Academy Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding: Provide exceptional care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their basic needs are met with kindness and compassion.
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of our students, promoting their overall growth and development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that foster socialization, creativity, and learning, using storytelling, songs, and educational outings to inspire our young minds.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor students for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing thorough reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors to ensure seamless communication.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers, working together to provide a cohesive and supportive environment for our students.
  • Environment and Safety: Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of our students, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our programs.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate: Possess a recognized certificate in early childhood education, demonstrating a strong foundation in child development and education principles.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates: Hold current certifications in first aid and CPR, ensuring the ability to respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when needed.
