Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Develop and implement comprehensive learning plans tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
    • Assess and monitor children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction and programming.
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Design and deliver engaging and interactive educational programs that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide programs and initiatives that support student learning and well-being.
  • Classroom Management and Leadership
    • Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning and character development.
    • Supervise and support early childhood educator assistants and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach to education.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to share progress, concerns, and ideas.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to develop and maintain relationships that support student learning and well-being.

Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a educational setting.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Strong commitment to early childhood education and the Montessori philosophy.
