Job Description
BMO is actively seeking a Purchase Order Analyst for a contract role lasting six months.
This position involves managing the requisition and purchase order processes for various technology requests as part of the Procurement lifecycle. You will collaborate with business partners and suppliers to ensure prompt and complete actions are executed. Additionally, you will support process controls and comply with internal guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily hardware and business application requisitions within the Technology Performance Management division.
- Collaborate with business partners and team leaders to prioritize and manage workload.
- Ensure all requests are accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.
- Establish effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Understand financial outcomes and their implications on business performance.
- Develop insights related to business/group strategies, plans, and financial activities.
- Coordinate and implement specific activities for strategic initiatives, including tracking metrics and milestones.
- Focus primarily on business/group operations within BMO, with potential enterprise-wide responsibilities.
- Utilize judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within established guidelines.
- Independently manage a variety of complex tasks, including unique situations.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Purchase Order Processing: 2 years (Required)
- Supplier/Vendor Coordination: 2 years (Required)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel): 2 years (Required)
- Experience in Banking/Financial Industry: 2 years (Desired)
Education/Certifications:
Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in a Related Field.
