This dynamic role requires shift work as per established schedules, with the opportunity to work in various departments when not required at the System Control Centre. Reporting to a staff supervisor or delegate, the Relief System Operator is responsible for learning and performing the duties of the System Operator, as well as performing tasks normally carried out by lower classification employees.
