Position Overview

Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Facility Maintenance Support role involves conducting routine inspections, performing minor repairs, and maintaining the equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include floor maintenance, basic woodworking and plumbing tasks, and executing deep cleaning procedures in accordance with established standards. The role also encompasses managing logistics related to the shipping and receiving of supplies, delivering materials to various departments, and assisting with room setup.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of high school or a relevant course.
  • At least 6 months of experience in minor maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and possess visual acuity to ensure cleaning standards are met.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Exposure to chemicals, waste materials, and refuse.
  • Potential for shift work, including weekends.
