Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the Facility Aide is responsible for conducting routine inspections, performing minor repairs, and maintaining equipment and facilities. This role includes floor maintenance, basic woodworking and plumbing tasks, and executing deep cleaning activities in line with established standards. The Facility Aide will manage logistics related to the shipping and receiving of supplies, ensuring timely delivery and transportation of materials to various departments, as well as assisting with room setups.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of high school or a relevant course.
  • At least 6 months of experience in minor maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and possess visual acuity to meet cleaning standards.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and as an enthusiastic team member.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Exposure to chemicals, waste materials, and refuse.
  • Potential for shift work, including weekends.
