Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation and Service:

  • Prepare menu items following A&W's established recipes and standards.
  • Execute fryer and grill operations, ensuring optimal cooking results.
  • Assemble food items and prepare fresh produce for toppings.
  • Perform essential food prep tasks, including portioning and cooking ingredients.
  • Ensure adequate preparation for daily service.

Kitchen Operations:

  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, food prep areas, and storage zones.
  • Adhere to all food safety protocols, including proper handling and storage practices.
  • Regularly filter fryers and uphold the cleanliness of kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Keep workspaces organized and restock supplies as necessary.
  • Conduct cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Monitor product freshness and manage stock rotation effectively.
  • Receive and store stock appropriately.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work in harmony with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new staff members.
  • Build positive relationships with managers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with fellow cooks to prepare for upcoming shifts.

Customer Engagement:

  • Occasionally assist in serving guests and address special requests courteously.
  • Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally.
