The Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University is a world-renowned institution for biomedical statistics, offering a vibrant and inclusive research environment. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Biostatistics and Medicine.
Research Focus:
The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded research program of the highest international standards, focusing on the development and application of methods for clinical research and large complex health-related data. They will also be responsible for supervising a diverse body of graduate students and contributing to formal teaching in the Master's and PhD programs offered in both departments.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Candidates must have a doctorate in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field, as well as significant post-doctoral experience. They must also have a track record of research productivity, a demonstrated ability to obtain grants for their own research, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and inclusive pedagogy.
