Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to deliver exceptional customer service and quality food products.
Key Responsibilities- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff to prepare and portion food, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and optimizing resources
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights for business growth and improvement
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Supervise and check assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage
- 5-10 years of experience in food service management, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
