About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to deliver exceptional customer service and quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff to prepare and portion food, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring efficient inventory management
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, analyzing financial data to inform business decisions
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate data for business analysis
  • Prepare and submit reports, communicating key performance indicators to management
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food products
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a food service or retail environment
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with a track record of success in team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
