About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Insolvency Analyst to join our Personal Debt Solutions team at BDO Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for drafting documents, letters, and correspondence, as well as entering documents into internal systems and preparing statutory correspondence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and Correspondence: Drafting documents, letters, and various correspondence, including processing mailouts and preparing formal documents in the insolvency database.
  • Report Analysis and Creditor Claims: Analyzing reports, monitoring creditor claims, and following up on outstanding claims.
  • Support to the Personal Debt Solutions Department: Providing support to the Personal Debt Solutions department, including working with the local team and others within the organization.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise well with staff and outside parties.
  • Technical Skills: Being proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and having the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Possessing exceptional time management, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Having the ability to work with and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
