We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Plant N' Plate Inc. as a Head Cook. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to take on a leadership role in our kitchen and contribute to the success of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our customers.
- Chef Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality control in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including front-of-house staff and management, to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a cook or chef in a high-volume kitchen environment, with a strong background in menu planning, chef supervision, and food safety.
- Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
