About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Plant N' Plate Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality control, ensuring that all food products meet our company's standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
