Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated automotive technicians who can work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with team members. Our full-service facility is committed to fostering a successful work environment.

Job Responsibilities
As an automotive technician at Midas, you will be responsible for a variety of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks, including:

  • Utilizing advanced computer systems for diagnostics
  • Performing tire services and repairs
  • Maintaining heating and air conditioning systems
  • Handling steering and suspension repairs
  • Inspecting and replacing belts and hoses
  • Managing radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Working on batteries, starting, and charging systems
  • Conducting brake repairs
  • Providing oil change services
  • Diagnosing check engine light issues
  • Performing exhaust and muffler services
  • Conducting visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • The ability to independently repair vehicles while also thriving in a team setting
  • Knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
  • A proven track record of high productivity
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in repair facilities
  • Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
  • A Provincial Certificate of Qualification
  • A valid driver's license
  • Personal tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
  • The capability to service both domestic and import vehicles

Compensation: $40.00 per hour

Midas locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees.
