About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Assistant to join our team at AFS Automotive Ltd. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Mechanics and Technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
  • Move Tools and Equipment safely and efficiently to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Signal Safety Procedures to other workers and the general public to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide Support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean Machines and Work Areas to maintain a clean and organized workshop.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced mechanics and technicians. You will be required to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player with excellent communication skills.
