About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Eighty Five Lube Services Inc. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicles by performing routine maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Discuss work with supervisor to ensure efficient workflow
    • Inspect motor in operation to identify potential issues
    • Test automotive systems and components to diagnose problems
    • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as needed
    • Perform scheduled maintenance service to prevent breakdowns
    • Test and adjust units to specifications to ensure optimal performance
    • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements to build trust and loyalty
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Work Environment
      • Work Term: Permanent
      • Work Language: English
      • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
    Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of automotive systems and components, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
