About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Crompton Brothers Automotive. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing or replacing parts and components, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust and Repair or Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Repair or Replace Mechanical Units: Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Cost: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust units to specifications.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices: Coach and instruct apprentices.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
  • Green Job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
