Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at LifeLabs. As a key member of our Client Services department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our client services functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our client services functions.
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the team, including scheduling, time-off requests, and overtime shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures, including quality assurance and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, performance, and quality metrics.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with senior leadership to provide input and recommendations on team performance and operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma; post-secondary education an asset.
  • 3–5 years leadership experience managing a team and function.
  • Phlebotomy skills, Home Care and/or Data Sort experience.
  • Understanding of PSC functions, administrative skills.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and skill sets.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the importance in meeting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and understands requirements for QRA and EHS compliance.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills and good punctuality.
  • As needed, may be required to perform phlebotomy, and undergo an annual competency assessment.
