Job Title: Bricklayer

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at Priory Construction. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Laying bricks, stone, and similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Estimating materials, tools, and equipment required for projects
  • Constructing and installing prefabricated masonry units
  • Building patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations
  • Reading sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Cutting and trimming bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Instructing apprentices
Work Environment:

As a Bricklayer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights and in varying weather conditions. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
  • Or equivalent experience
