About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at AG Masonry. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay masonry units: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Construct and install masonry units: Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing, and construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Work in various settings: Work on construction sites, building residential and commercial chimneys and fireplaces, and laying radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
  • Ensure quality and safety: Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that all masonry work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry work.
  • Work Environment: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player.
