About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Safe Unlimited Masonry Inc. as a Bricklayer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to build residential or commercial structures.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing for chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Instruct apprentices in masonry techniques and best practices.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. The successful candidate will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, gloves, and safety glasses/goggles.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in masonry.
  • Permanent employment with a 30-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
