About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team at Northwestel. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's HR strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with client leadership teams and HR stakeholders to drive business results and achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to senior leadership, including talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that align with the company's business objectives and promote a culture of high performance and engagement.
  • Manage and lead a high-performing HR team, providing coaching, development, and guidance to ensure the team's success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR leadership, with a proven track record of success in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment and familiarity with employment equity and pay equity regulations.
