Job Summary

Parks Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources (HR) professional to join our team as an HR Lead in the Yukon Field Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR matters, leading HR operations, and managing a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to management on human resources issues
- Lead HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR planning
- Manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with Indigenous communities to manage national parks and historic sites in the Yukon

Requirements

- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, certification as a registered Human Resources Professional, or equivalent
- Experience providing HR services in disciplines such as Labour Relations, Classification, Staffing/Resourcing/Recruitment, Learning and Professional Development, HR Planning, Disability Management
- Ability to lead, manage, and develop a team
- Ability to provide strategic advice to address complex human resources issues
