Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician - Naval Systems to join our team at the Canadian Armed Forces. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of complex electronic systems on board our naval vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Operate diagnostic systems, specialized tools, and test equipment to identify and repair faults
  • Perform diagnostic analysis on components and systems to determine root causes of issues
  • Repair and replace faulty electronic equipment to ensure system reliability
  • Inspect, maintain, and install electronic components to ensure system integrity
  • Compile logs, reports, and maintenance documentation to track system performance and maintenance activities
  • Read and interpret electronic drawings to understand system design and functionality
Requirements
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada
  • Be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent)
  • Have completed at least Grade 10 or Secondaire IV in Québec (some jobs require higher levels of education)
