Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support our team at Dr. Zaeem ul Islam Veterinary Medicine Professional Corporation. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to animals in a clinical setting.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an animal hospital, where they will engage in various tasks to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle, restrain, and provide care for animals undergoing treatment and surgical procedures.
  • Assist veterinarians before, during, and after surgical interventions.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications.
  • Conduct and assist in laboratory research as required.
  • Perform a variety of office management and clerical duties.
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals.
  • Deliver wound and bandage care to patients.

A criminal record check is required for this position to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
