- Assistance to Veterinarians: Assist veterinarians before, during, and after surgery, providing support and ensuring the smooth operation of procedures.
- Treatment Administration: Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarians, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with medical protocols.
- Research and Laboratory Support: Conduct and assist in laboratory research, contributing to the advancement of veterinary medicine and animal care.
- Office Management and Clerical Duties: Perform a variety of office management and clerical duties, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with clients.
- Nursing Care and Rehabilitation: Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals, promoting their recovery and well-being.
- Wound and Bandage Care: Provide wound and bandage care, ensuring the proper treatment and management of animal injuries.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Animal hospital or similar environment.
- Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a physically demanding work environment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, organized, and a team player.
