Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
The successful candidate will work in an animal hospital setting, providing care and support to a variety of animals.
Key Responsibilities- Handle, restrain, and provide care for animals undergoing medical procedures.
- Assist veterinarians before, during, and after surgical operations.
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications.
- Conduct laboratory research and assist in various studies.
- Perform office management and clerical tasks as needed.
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation services for animals.
- Administer wound care and bandaging.
A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.
Physical Requirements- Attention to detail is crucial.
- The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical demands of the job require stamina and strength.
- Must be accurate and organized.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This is a permanent position, with working hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
