Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Dr. Zaeem ul Islam Veterinary Medicine Professional Corporation. As a key member of our animal care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our furry patients.
Responsibilities- Animal Care and Handling: Safely handle and restrain animals undergoing treatment and surgery, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Assisting Veterinarians: Provide support to veterinarians before, during, and after surgery, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Treatment Administration: Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarians, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
- Research and Laboratory Support: Conduct and assist in laboratory research, contributing to the advancement of animal health and welfare.
- Office Management and Clerical Duties: Perform a variety of office management and clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and communication with clients.
- Nursing Care and Rehabilitation: Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals, promoting their recovery and well-being.
- Wound and Bandage Care: Provide wound and bandage care, ensuring the proper treatment and management of animal injuries.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Animal hospital or similar environment.
- Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a physically demanding work environment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, organized, and a team player.
