Job Title: Global Category Manager - Procurement Strategist

Job Summary:

Nokia is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager - Procurement Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with Nokia's business objectives
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal contracts and favorable terms
  • Conduct thorough assessments of market dynamics and identify opportunities and risks for strategic procurement decisions
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to inform and enhance procurement strategies
  • Provide expert guidance on the structuring and negotiation of Employee Benefit and other HR operation-related contracts
  • Lead the development of innovative procurement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost management, and environmental impact
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate procurement initiatives seamlessly into overall business objectives
  • Develop and maintain category and supplier strategies with stakeholders to identify new market opportunities, provide competition in category, and manage supply risks
  • Manage supplier performance and ensure cost, availability, innovation, and quality within sourcing plans
  • Lead contract and price negotiations with suppliers and secure best T&Cs/contracting for Nokia competitiveness
  • Manage contract life cycle and anticipate and handle changes based on supply market dynamics
  • Accountable for agreed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and their reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Proven track record with 7 to 10 years of experience in HR procurement, showcasing expertise in negotiations and contract management
  • In-depth knowledge of markets, regulations, and emerging industry trends
  • Extensive experience in structuring and negotiating Employee Benefit and other HR service-related contracts
