ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Are you enthusiastic about crafting comprehensive, client-focused training, content, and brand collaboration strategies that empower our team with in-depth category, product, and brand knowledge? As the Head of Category Management, your focus will be on enhancing employee expertise that drives sales and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely to cultivate skills and promote excellence in program and brand management, effective communication, and program execution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  1. Inspire and nurture a workplace culture that reflects Sephora's core values, fostering open communication and collaboration while providing opportunities for career growth.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive strategies that facilitate data-driven decision-making, bringing strategic training initiatives to fruition.
  3. Design and implement innovative and sustainable training strategies that bridge the gap between vision and execution, working closely with North American and global teams to adapt and localize content.
  4. Utilize client insights and employee performance metrics to inform category, product, and brand training programs, employing business intelligence to analyze all programming.
  5. Prepare and present program updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and brand partners to influence initiatives that enhance both client and employee experiences.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  1. Over 10 years of experience in retail operations and learning and development, including expertise in content design, optimization, and change management; at least 5 years in leadership roles within retail operations or brand management.
  2. A creative problem-solver with a knack for developing practical training programs and process improvements, grounded in objective and data-driven decision-making.
  3. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, adept at managing multiple priorities with flexibility and adaptability.
  4. Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to high-quality output, effectively communicating vision and driving innovation.
  5. Willingness to travel up to 25% for store visits and field leadership meetings.
